PROTECTORATE BRANCH OF TRAVERSE - ALEXINA
The Protectorate branch of Traverse, Alexina, was an original branch formed during the guild's stable release. The Protectorates are oriented towards the goal of aiding the correlating branches in any combat-oriented tasks. This can include anything from protecting commerce caravans to running dungeons for Patrons in search of combat exclusive materials. The branch is currently led by the current Praetor, Kashya.

BASIC GOALS-
● Assisting community players, as well as Patrons and Magistrates, in reaching combat oriented goals. This includes dungeon running, Shadow Missions, and other combat oriented missions.
● Obtaining combat exclusive blacksmith scrolls. Ex: scrolls that can only be found in dungeons.
● Providing aid to the Magistrates if the need arises.
● Obtaining combat exclusive production materials for Patrons.
● Aiding players in the completion of quest lines and other story related tasks.
● Utilizing combat skills to assist in guarding and protecting commerce caravans.
Legate - Second in Command; this role is given to a single person who has shown their status and ability to provide aid to the community while remaining courteous to others.
Tribune - Classified as officers of the Protectorates, up to five Protectorates may be elected as Tribunes. These are Protectorates that have shown skill in their abilities to properly assess and handle situations, and have received commendations from his peers, the Praetor, and the Legate. The Tribune has strict leadership over the Centurion in his or her control over the lower ranks. This can, however, be overruled by the Legate or Praetor.
Centurion - Classified as captains of the Protectorates, up to ten Protectorates may be elected as Tribunes. Centurions have direct leadership over legionaries, but may be overruled by a Protectorate with the rank of Tribune or above.
Optio - Classified as a junior officer, these Protectorates are assistants to the Centurions. Albeit their primary goal is to assist in the goal of the Centurion, the Optio may aid other members of the community to his or her desire. Up to five Protectorates may be elected as Optios.
Legionary - Classified as the working soldier of the Protectorates. The Legionary is the basic, entry level soldier. Up to twenty Legionaries may be elected, allowing up to 42 Protectorates into the branch.

SPECIFIC ROLES-
Praetor - [Current Praetor - Kashya] Commanding Officer; this role is given to the leader of the Protectorates. This role entails responsibility of all members below this rank.Unlike the Patrons and Magistrates, the Protectorates are given specific roles based on a combination of effort, skill, and the amount of aid they bring to the community. By helping the community and providing aid to those in need, the Protectorate may secure his or her rank and view the potential for a promoting rank. Protectorate ranks are based off of ranks of the Roman Army.
